The Design Village was formed in 2000 by the present directors to form a Centre of Design Excellence with several small independent companies working together, pooling resources and carrying out contracts that the individual companies alone could not consider.
From initial design contracts with local companies we have continued to grow and now service several customers worldwide with both R&D services and manufactured parts. Our primary field of expertise is the medical industry, although many of our established clients are in diverse markets from heavy engineering to small sensing instrumentation.
The Design Village is small enough to be responsive to customer requirements but has sufficient resources and relationships with other partners to allow larger projects to be considered.
