JT (Guernsey) Ltd has recently launched Gigabit speed broadband in Guernsey’s new Royal Terrace development using fibre-optic cabling, making it the first residential development to benefit from such fast speeds - and it is this initiative which forms the front cover design. Gigabit broadband is currently the fastest residential broadband available anywhere in the world, outside of South Korea.

30,000 copies of the directory have been printed this year and distribution began earlier this week. Only one copy will be delivered per household over the next month, in line with JT (Guernsey) Ltd's approach to reducing environmental waste, but anyone wanting additional directories can collect them from the JT (Guernsey) Ltd shop on the High Street.

It is the first step on a road which will see these exceptionally high broadband speeds become much more widely available.
