Qualtech was formed in 1983 and started by designing and manufacturing hand held probes for the electronic test industry. It developed this niche and as electronic components got smaller there was a need for automated probing. Qualtech designed the first single probe unit with Polar Instruments and from there Qualtech has designed and developed probing solutions that are sold around the world.

In late 2001 Qualtech had the opportunity of integrating A & F Engineering into the company, A & F was a Precision Engineering Company with state of the Art CNC machines, good premises, and a very experienced and capable workforce. This has given us the ability to take a new concept from design through to producing machined precision parts and then to final assembly and test.

In the last year we have received ISO certification for Implantable Devices, installed the latest STAR CNC Sliding head Lathe and employed two more turners. Year on year we have seen over 20% growth, which we attribute to Quality of, manufactured items and reliable manufacture.
