The change was ratified at the CGI’s Annual General Meeting, held on 20 April 2021 at Les Cotils.
Dave brings with him a broad range of experience. In his primary role he is Director of the Guernsey Alcohol Advisory Service, which he has led for the past 28 years.
His work and experience has spanned all aspects of life in Guernsey over the period, liaising with politicians, civil service, business, health and the third sector, in key areas of policy development, finance, lobbying promotion or in an advisory capacity.
Dave is an active member of the Leaders Council of Great Britain promoting best Practice across Industry, Health and the Third sector.
Dave possesses a good working knowledge of both the machinery of government and the civil service and strong links in the business and third sector on the Island. He will be actively involved in moving the organisation forward in 2021 and beyond.
