We ran a survey in June on the issues facing members. These are the results.
What are the biggest issues facing you at present?
What do you think the priorities should be for the CGi over the next 12 months?
From the survey, it is clear there are three main priorities:
• Reduce States’ red tape and spending
• Improve housing licences for staff
• Improve access to quality staff on-Island
We have met with senior States officials to discuss housing licences and ways of recruiting staff and this dialogue is ongoing. Committee members also attended the tax review workshop held last week and we will circulate our thoughts in due course.
