We ran a survey in June on the issues facing members. These are the results.

The States is proposing a number of initiatives to raise revenue because of the costs of Covid. Please select those that you feel are relevant:

From the survey, it is clear there are three main priorities:

• Reduce States’ red tape and spending
• Improve housing licences for staff
• Improve access to quality staff on-Island

We have met with senior States officials to discuss housing licences and ways of recruiting staff and this dialogue is ongoing. Committee members also attended the tax review workshop held last week and we will circulate our thoughts in due course.
