We are seeking two new committee members from this September.
The role is to work with the Chairman, Company Secretary and other committee members to develop policies and viewpoints on key topics that concern our Federation and in doing so, support the wider membership.
Current initiatives include:
- Working with the States to improve the Population Management Law for members and industry
- Challenging and working with government on the Anti-Discrimination legislation that will become law this year
- Supporting members through setting up seminars including cyber security, Anti-Discrimination Law
- Continuing to engage with senior civil servants and politicians in any other area that helps CGi members.
The role is voluntary and if feel you have skills, knowledge and experience, plus keep up-to-date and informed of strategic issues and changes locally, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Time commitment is not onerous and mainly involves attending the monthly meetings at the Digital Greenhouse with some work outside of these.
